Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Cardi B Lead Nominations for 2019 Grammys

The Recording Academy may have shocked some people with the Best Rap Album nominations for the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.

Check out some of the biggest snubs and surprises from the 2019 Grammys nominations ahead of the show on February 10, which you can catch live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET. Songwriter Geoffrey Warburton, who also hails from Pickering, shares the In My Blood song nomination with Mendes.

Their music video for Apes**t will go up against This Is America from Childish Gambino, I'm Not Racist from Joyner Lucas, PYNK from Janelle Monae, and MUMBO JUMBO from Tierra Whack. Instead, country singer Kacey Musgraves beat him to the punch with a nomination for album of the year.

The cover is for her album "Restoration: Reimagining the Songs of Elton John and Bernie Taupin".
