Do you think eye tracking is the future of VR? While HTC Vive previously offered access to five games per month to subscribers, it hopes to make this new service "the best way to experience VR apps and games".

The VR Gaming scene is taking off slower than we thought it would but it is clear that HTC is not ready to give up on it yet as it looks like they are looking to show us a new VR gear at CES this year.

Vive Pro, built to meet the needs of the professional VR user, just got even better with integrated eye tracking on the new Vive Pro Eye-giving users new levels of accessibility, including gaze-oriented menu navigation and removing the need for controllers. This week at CES 2019, Major League Baseball (MLB) debuted the Vive Pro Eye by integrating the eye tracking into the "MLB Home Run Derby VR" video game experience.

Theoretically, this opens the door for brand-new and more realistic VR experiences. While this isn't necessarily new to the HTC Vive, eye tracking is now a core feature with full, official support.
