Fabregas departs Chelsea for Monaco

He has been linked with a move to Ligue 1 side Monaco with reports claiming that a deal has already been reached with the two clubs.

Having enjoyed a glittering career, capped by winning the World Cup with Spain in 2010, Fabregas arrives at a club who were French champions just 18 months ago but are now in crisis.

Monaco get Cesc on what is initially a free transfer but could see them pay Chelsea up to 11 million euros depending on clauses relating to his and the team's performance.

Cesc Fabregas played 303 times for Arsenal between 2003 and 2011, helping the club win the 2005 FA Cup.
