Girl has no link to kidnapper: Grandfather

It's been an emotional roller coaster as the timeline of events involving Jayme Closs' kidnapping, escape and reunion with her family continue to unfold.

"I'm happy to hear that Jayme is found alive and well, I'm happy for that", said Koua Lee, the brother of Hang Lee, who disappeared from St. Paul in 1993 when she was 17 and never has been found.

The sheriff said Patterson had been keeping Jayme against her will at his home.

"It was great to know she was next to me all night", Jennifer Smith posted on Facebook on Saturday.

Jayme Closs, 13, had been missing for almost three months when she approached a stranger near the small Wisconsin town of Gordon on Thursday and pleaded for help.

About three years ago, Patterson worked at the Jennie-O Turkey Store plant in Barron - where Jayme's parents were employed - and then quit, saying he was moving, company President Steve Lykken said.

However, neighbors noted they rarely saw Patterson and hadn't seen Jayme around.

The first published photo of Jayme on Friday shows her smiling with her dog, Molly, and her aunt.

"I went to her and she just sort of grabbed onto me and she told me who she was".

"She is going to have to grieve the loss of her parents and also come to terms with the fact she was abducted, escaped and whatever (other) hell she went through", said Beers.

In a statement, attorneys Charles Glynn and Richard Jones said they awaited Jake Thomas Patterson's initial court appearance and the filing of charges against him on Monday.

Another Aunt, Sue Allard, said she could barely express her joy after learning the news.

Patrick Mahomes makes Patriots, Chargers claim after Chiefs defeat Colts
That is a big-time Quarterback and the Colts have just that in Andrew Luck . "We've got to get Zeke to the second level". Can the second-year QB be ready for the Colts? The Colts are a little more balanced and have a better defensive line.

More than 200 law enforcement officials were on the ground day and night following Closs' disappearance, sifting through thousands of tips but finding little to go on. She said his parents moved away but the suspect and his brothers continued to use the home. "She said she did not know him".

He added: 'She did not talk about why or how.

Sheriff Fitzgerald says Jayme was being held against her will in a home in the Douglas County community of Gordon, about an hour north of Barron.

There's no evidence Patterson knew the Closses or had previous contact with them, the sheriff said. "I also have to concentrate on my own sister, and it hurts that we don't have closure".

"Well, right now we're looking for 88 days of evidence", Fitzgerald said.

"The million-dollar question is why", Fitzgerald said Saturday.

The sheriff said that he did not know whether Closs had been physically abused.

Jayme told one of the neighbours in Gordon who took her in that she had walked away from a cabin where she had been held captive. Shortly after the 911 call, a sheriff's patrol sergeant found the vehicle, pulled it over and took Patterson into custody, Douglas County Sheriff Tom Dalbec said.

The search for her started with a mysterious 911 call from the cellphone of her mother, who was found shot to death with her father in their Wisconsin home.

Elizabeth Smart posted on Instagram after Closs was found calling her courageous, strong and a powerful survivor.

Smart said in an interview that Closs' story is "why we can never give up hope on any missing child".
