Clarke, who had been substituted at half-time, complained of feeling unwell in the dugout and was then carried away on a stretcher while being given oxygen.

Liverpool could be planning a summer swoop for Leeds United's teenage starlet Jack Clarke as they look to improve their squad for next season.

Referee Darren England was forced to suspend the game temporarily as Clarke received treatment on the Leeds bench before being taken to the dressing room for further inspection.

"All we know is Jack didn't feel well, we don't really know the reasons yet", said Bielsa whose side equalised during 12 minutes of stoppage time when Kalvin Phillips headed a 101st-minute leveller to take Leeds back to the top of the table.

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis passed on his best wishes to Clarke when he addressed the media.

Clarke was taken to hospital and then spent Saturday night in the care of Leeds' medical staff.

"The important thing is that fingers crossed, the boy is okay and he recovers because he's a very talented young player", he said.

The 18-year-old is a product of the Leeds' academy and has been making the right waves in the English second division, in what is his debut campaign.

Clarke has scored two goals and made two assists in 16 Championship appearances this season, although he has only started four of those games. Sheffield United are within touching distance of that final automatic promotion place, however, and are only three points behind Leeds.
