"I don't believe it happened the way he said it did".

Since the January 29 incident, Chicago police have not been able to identify any legitimate suspects in the case or find any surveillance video capturing the attack on film. "Half the people are gay and the other half are black", said Agin Muhammad, who lives in the same high rise as Smollett.

Chicago Police department told Page Six on Tuesday, that the records the 36-year-old actor provided for the investigation into his alleged attack were "limited and redacted" and "insufficient for a criminal investigation". Smollett was allegedly on the phone with his manager at the time of the encounter. "They have cameras everywhere".

Clearly, that anonymous person is delusional, since incidents like the Laquan McDonald murder to 15 men exonerated for false arrests show Chicago is far from "the most liberal city", which has an epic history of racism. They have yet to locate footage of the actual attack. Both allege the Empire star was called a "f--t" and a "n--r" and Moore insists he heard the assailants yell "MAGA country".

ABC 7 Chicago's Rob Elgas reported late Monday that shortly after the "Empire" star turned over the "limited and redacted" phone records connected to the alleged attack, Chicago police spokesman AJ Guglielmi told the outlet, "We are very appreciative of the victim's cooperation however the records provided do not meet the burden for a criminal investigation".

"We offered to take the phone to download the data and he expressed he couldn't be without his phone for several hours".

"Chicago PD has repeatedly informed us that they find Jussie's account of what happened that night consistent and credible", Chris Bastardi, a spokesman for Smollett, said in an emailed statement. But Smollett's manager eventually called at 2:42 a.m. that morning.

According to police, Smollett was found with stained clothing and "white rope draped around" his neck, as he explained an unknown chemical, presumably bleach, was poured on him in the attack.

Last week, The Post traced Smollett's likely route to the underpass from a 24-hour Subway sandwich shop where he bought a tuna sandwich and a salad.

A half-empty hot sauce bottle with a clear liquid in it was recently found near the scene of the alleged attack in Streeterville and sources also said it smelled like bleach. Gulielmi said it was turned over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for analysis. Initially, Jussie did not want to report the crime to the police but he reluctantly did and now, he's finally released his phone records to the authorities.

The FBI declined to comment.
