Vicky Kaushal’s latest blockbuster, Chhaava, is being dubbed in Telugu and will be distributed in Telugu-speaking regions owing to popular demand, the makers announced on Wednesday.
The Telugu release of Chhaava will be handled by GA2 Pictures, the distribution arm of Geetha Arts, the banner of producer Allu Arvind. The Telugu version of the film will release on March 7, 2025.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is an action-historical on the life and times of Sambhaji, the valiant elder son and heir of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, founder of the Maratha Empire. The film stars Rashmika Mandanna as Queen Yesubai and Akshaye Khanna as Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
Chhaava, featuring violent war sequences as well as the protracted torture of Sambhaji at the hands of Aurangzeb, has collected over ₹400 crore at the box-office, becoming the biggest hit of Kaushal’s career. It is also the highest-grossing Hindi and Indian film of 2025.
