On the occasion of Vishu, the makers of the upcoming Malayalam film Baby Girl announced that Nivin Pauly will be headlining the film. This comes after the makers announced earlier in January this year that Kunchacko Boban would be playing the film’s lead. Nivin will be replacing Kunchacko in the film which will be helmed by director Arun Varma, who made last year’s thriller Garudan.

Apart from Nivin, the film also stars Lijomol Jose, Sangeeth Prathap, and Abhimanyu Thilakan, who recently played the antagonist in Marco. Nivin took to social media to share the news and also confirmed that the film has gone on floors from today.
Listin Stephen is producing the film under his Magic Frames banner. The rest of the film’s cast and crew are yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Nivin is teaming up with Adithyan Chandrashkar for Multiverse Manmadhan, which is billed as “India’s first multiverse superhero movie.” The actor has Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, directed by Ram, Shekhara Varma Rajavu, directed by Anuraj Manohar, Dear Students, co-starring Nayanthara, Action Hero Biju 2, directed by Abrid Shine, and director Akhil Sathyan’s untitled next among other films in the line-up.
