Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly is on track to become the highest-grosser for actor Ajith Kumar. According to trade website Sacnilk, Good Bad Ugly has raked in ₹84.50 crores in the domestic market and has breached the ₹150 crore mark globally. According to Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of the film Good Bad Ugly, the film made more than ₹30.9 crore on day 1 in Tamil Nadu making it the highest opener for Ajith in the State.

Starring Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, S.J. Suryah among others, the film features Ajith as a retired gangster who is forced to take up arms one last time to save his son. The film, filled with numerous callbacks and references to Ajith’s previous films, is said to be high on fan service, the kind of film Ajith’s ardent fans have been wishing from their idol for quite some time.
The film’s music is composed by GV Prakash. Abinandhan Ramanujam serves as the cinematographer, while Vijay Velukutty is on board as the editor. Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar produce the film under their Mythri Movie Makers banner.
The Hindu’s review of Good Bad Uglycalled the film “a loving work of nostalgia” and as a “new benchmark in fan service.”
