RRR star Jr. NTR’s upcoming film with director Prashanth Neel, known for the megahit KGF movies and the Telugu actioner Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, has gone on floors. Described as a big-scale action drama, the production kicked off at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, with 2,000 junior artists shooting an important portion of the story. However, its lead star, Jr NTR, will only join the shoot from the next schedule.
The film, tentatively titled NTRNeel, was officially launched in August, 2024. The purported period drama is slated for release in theatres on January 9, 2026.
It will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.
The film is bankrolled under Mythri Movie Makers and NTR arts banner.
