‘Padakkalam’: Suraj Venjaramoodu and Sharafudheen film’s first look and release date out

The makers of Padakkalam, starring Suraj Venjaramoodu and Sharafudheen in the lead, have unveiled the film’s first look. Debutant filmmaker Manu Swaraj is directing the film, which he has co-written with Nithin C Babu.

The team took to social media to share the first look which also confirmed the film’s release date.

The poster, also featuring Sandeep Pradeep, Niranjana Anoop, Saaf, Arun Pradeep and Arun Ajikumar, confirmed that the film will hit theatres on May 2.

Padakkalam is produced by Vijay Babu and Vijay Subramaniam under the banners of Friday Film House and 29 September Works. The film has music by Rajesh Murugesan. Anu Moothedath handles the cinematography, while Nidhin Raj Arol is the editor. 

Meanwhile, Suraj will be next seen in the Mohanlal-Prithviraj’s L2: Empuraan. The actor is also making his Tamil debut in Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, headlined by Vikram and helmed by Chithha director SU Arun Kumar. On the other hand, Sharafudheen’s next is Pet Detective which is scheduled for April 25.
