Salaar Devaratha Raisaar is back! Prashanth Neel’s recent release Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire starring Prabhas in the lead, is all set to be re-released. The film, also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Bobby Simha, Jagapathi Babu and Sriya Reddy.

The film, which was released in theatres on 22 December 2023, is currently streaming on JioHotstar. The makers recently announced that the film has been trending on the OTT platform continuously for a year.

While fans are awaiting an update on the film’s sequel, it’s now known that the makers are releasing the first part once again on the big screen. It’s now known that Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire will be re-released in theatres on March 21.

Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire revolves around the friendship of two men from the fictional dystopian city-state of Khansaar, where monarchy still exists. When a coup d’état is planned by the ministers of Varadha’s father and his relatives, he enlists Deva’s help to become Khansaar’s undisputed ruler.

The film is the maiden part of a two-part film. Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam is currently under development and is expected to release next year.
