Sonam Bajwa joins Harshvardhan Rane in Milap Milan Zaveri’s ‘Deewaniyat’

Sonam Bajwa lands her third Hindi film in ‘Deewaniyat’

Actor Sonam Bajwa will star opposite Harshvardhan Rane in Deewaniyat, an upcoming romantic drama directed by Milap Milan Zaveri. Sonam, a popular name in Punjabi cinema, has the Hindi franchise films Housefull 5 and Baaghi 4 in her kitty. According to the makers, Deewaniyat is a passionate love story that will feature a ‘soul-stirring’ soundtrack. 

The film is written by Mustaq Sheikh and Milap Milan Zaveri. It is set to go on floors soon and will release in late 2025.

Sanam Teri Kasam, a 2016 film starring Harshvardhan Rane and Pakistani actor Mawra Hocane, became a re-release sensation recently. The romantic drama sped past contemporary releases to become a box-office draw. The film was also re-released in the UK.

Speaking about Deewaniyat, Harshvardhan Rane had earlier stated, “I’m grateful to the audience for the overwhelming love they have given me for Sanam Teri Kasam. The power of a love story is eternal, and when I heard the madness, passion, and craziness of the role and script of Deewaniyat, I immediately chose it to be my next film.”
