Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for the second season of its Tamil crime thriller Suzhal—The Vortex. Written and created by Pushkar and Gayatri, and directed by Bramma and Sarjun KM, the new season is set to premiere on February 28 in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, with English subtitles.
The eight-episode series returns with Kathir and Aishwarya Rajesh reprising their lead roles, alongside a strong ensemble cast that includes Lal, Saravanan, Gouri Kishan, Samyuktha Vishwanathan, Monisha Blessy, and Rini, among others. Manjima Mohan and Kayal Chandran also make special appearances.
This season takes viewers to the fictional village of Kaalipattanam in Tamil Nadu, where the brutal murder of veteran lawyer and activist Chellappa (Lal) shakes the local community. Sub-Inspector Sakkarai (Kathir) leads the investigation while, Nandini (Aishwarya Rajesh) faces an uncertain future in prison, haunted by her past. The case becomes even more complex when eight seemingly unconnected young women emerge as primary suspects, forcing Sakkarai to untangle a web of secrets before the truth is lost in the darkness.

Suzhal-The Vortex Season 2 is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide on February 28
